Les Vignes de l'Ange Vin is the domain of legendary natural winemaker, artist and eccentric Jean-Pierre Robinot. Vinification follows this gentle practice with grapes pressed slowly using no additional sulphites or preservatives. Regard 22 is 100% Pineau d'Aunis from vines up to 90 years old. After pressing, grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation in barrels with indigenous yeasts before ageing for 18 months in used oak.
Fresh and juicy with a classic Pineau d'Aunis white pepper nose and volatile tartness like biting into raw and fermenting cranberries. Some earthy notes of moss and blackcurrant wood also come through, transporting you to a recently rained upon woodland.
