A multi-generational wine making family located in the heart of Alsace. Biodynamic since 1998. This is from a two acre plot on clay and limestone. Two week maceration and aging for 14 months in old oak barrels.
100% Pinor Noir grown on combination soils of clay, limestone, granite and blue marls. The grapes undergo 8 days of maceration before being aged for one year in foudres. Delicate floral notes of lavender combine with smoked cherries and a savory green pepper finish.
