Fresh Breads & Baked Goods at White Horse Wine & Spirits

At White Horse Wine & Spirits, we believe the best experiences include both good food and good drink. We take great pride in the products we carry and the ingredients we use, and the baked goods we bring in are no exception.

We feature three bakery partners here at White Horse: LeBus Bakery of Philadelphia, Hammerbacher of Egg Harbor City, and Ventnor 7311 of Ventnor, NJ.

LeBus Bakery has built a reputation in the Philadelphia area based on a great selection of artisan baked goods made with quality ingredients. LeBus delivers freshly baked bread to our door every morning, all made with non-GMO flour.

If you haven't picked up one of their baguettes from the Market, you are missing out. Sliced up or simply ripped into pieces, their French Baguettes are the best this side of the Atlantic. Slather on some extra virgin olive oil and minced garlic for the perfect garlic bread every time.

The crusty exteriors and soft interiors of Lebus' plain panini rolls and multigrain sunflower seed rolls are perfect for the gourmet sandwiches made in the Market. We'll also use their sliced multigrain bread and marble rye on some of our daily specials.

We also carry items from Hammerbacher, which are locally baked by husband and wife team Paul and Lauren Erbacher out of Egg Harbor City. The foodie couple was also behind the well-loved restaurant The Avenue, and their bakery quickly gained a solid following shortly after opening in 2016. Their freshly baked, absolutely delicious breads and other goodies are delivered on Wednesdays and Fridays and are available at the Market counter.

Enjoy an Italian Stallion alongside a bowl of our homemade soup of the day. Serve a Rustic Loaf with dinner. And for wholesome sandwiches, perfect French Toast, or the ultimate grilled cheese, pick up a Milk & Butter loaf, which has just a touch of sweetness and an airiness that will blow your mind.

On Thursdays, we receive our weekly delivery from Ventnor 7311, which includes sweet and savory pies, cookies, shortbread, and more. With degrees in culinary arts and nutrition, local restaurant owner Cookie Till (of Steve & Cookies fame) and baker Kim Richmond use natural, fresh ingredients for their small-batch baked goods featuring paleo, gluten-free & vegan options.

Our bakery partners are the real deal, and we're happy to be able to bring their products to our customers.

*Delivery days mentioned above are correct as of 1/15/2020. Stop in or call 609-677-9880 then dial 2 to find out what's currently available.

  • I went to your wonderful bakery this afternoon, for the first time. Everything looked fabulous, and tasted great, too. I’m so happy to meet you both, and be able to buy more tasty baked goods.
Happy 10th Anniversary Congratulations to both of you.
