The wine then ages in three and four-year-old Burgundy barrels for nine months. The domain A family story The Breyton family has been working the family vineyard for 5 generations now. Out of genuine love for the land and the fruit, the human-scale estate run by Jacques Breyton began its conversion to organic farming in 1998, then to biodynamic farming in 2002. To date, we have a total area of 7 hectares, of which 5 are in the Crozes-Hermitage appellation, and 3 are dedicated to the production of Vin de France with a wide variety of grape varieties.
