A former aerospace engineer, Bee Maloof visited friends in Oregon and ended up working harvest at Brianne Day's Day Camp when the wine bug bit. For Ben Maloof, it was after a long tenure in the Philadelphia dining scene. Together, they produce minimal intervention, single vineyard wines at their winery, No Clos Radio. They absolutely serve all their wines with pizza.
100% Gewurztraminer from No Clos Radio Vineyard in Tualatin Hills AVA (NW Willamette Valley). Fruit from No Clos Radio was planted in the early 1970's, is own-rooted, dry farmed, and is farmed organically. Fruit is 100% destemmed, fermented on skins for 16 days (until dry), and aged in 500L neutral oak puncheons. Unfined & Unfiltered. (104 cases produced)
