Louis M. Martini Monte Rosso Mountain Red wine blend is crafted from select blocks on the renowned Monte Rosso Vineyard and offers a true expression of this historic site. Nestled 1,200 feet above the Sonoma Valley in the majestic Mayacamas Mountains, the vineyard’s red volcanic soils and low-yielding old vines on steep, rugged slopes have produced treasured grapes for our family’s portfolio of fine wines since 1938.
The Zinfandel, Syrah & Petitre Sirah wine blend has a dark red hue and intense aromatics dominated by notes of black cherry, cassis and allspice. The palate offers excellent depth and broad mouthfeel alongside rich flavors that echo the nose. Firm tannins and subtle minerality frame a fruit-focused mid-palate, while rich flavor characterizes the lengthy finish. Lingering minerality and spice. Balance and integrated, the wine is an archetypal California mountain wine blend.
